Feed Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 (Office) has announced that it will remove the Feed feature from its web endpoints (www.microsoft365.com, www.office.com) and the Windows app.

In the official announcement, Microsoft says the Feed feature, designed to help users explore the latest content and team activities, will no longer be accessible from the Microsoft 365 app starting November 1, 2024.

The company has ensured that the change will not affect existing workflows.

Feed’s essential characteristics have been integrated into the “Recommended” files on the Home tab in the Microsoft 365 app.

The Feed feature was launched in 2022.

We are committed to ensuring that your existing workflows remain unaffected. Launched in 2022, Feed was designed to help users explore the latest content and team activities. Over time, we have integrated all the essential features of Feed into a more accessible surface within the Microsoft 365 app: the “Recommended” files on the Home tab (shown in figure 2 below).
