Members of the Australasian Branch of IAATI have access to the following publications and training materials:

VIN Newsletter

The Australasian Branch of IAATI produces a bimonthly electronic newsletter called Vehicle Investigator News or VIN. It contains news concerning automotive theft and fraud as well as providing feedback opportunities to the membership. This effectively provides the non office holding members with input into administrative issues and policy. Financial member of the Australasian Branch Members are emailed a copy of VIN in February, April, June, August, October and December each year. Members can access past issues of VIN by clicking this link.

APB Magazine

The International Board of IAATI produces a quarterly magazine called the APB. Hard copies of APB are sent directly to all members of the Association although past issues of APB can be acccessed by clicking this link.

Auto Theft Today 

In addition the International Board of IAATI produce a electronic newsletter called Auto Theft Today (formerly E-News) which is emailed to all members around the world in January, March, May, July, September and November. Past issues of Auto Theft Today can be accessed by clicking this link

International File Library

All financial members of IAATI have access to a range of additional material stored in the File Library on the International website.  This includes:

  • a selection of newsletters from other IAATI Branches and Chapters
  • presentations from training seminars
  • training and reference material
  • copies of the US Investigator Certification Program study materials
